Today is the Perfect Day to Ignite Your Life
I was born and raised in the small town of Mishawaka, Indiana.
My father worked extremely hard to provide food and a decent living for his family.
My mother was a dreamer who believed that we, as a people, can accomplish anything we set our minds to. No goal is too large, no dream unimaginable.
To this day I feel blessed to have had parents that inspired me the many ways they have and I will always be thankful to them.
I have learned since that time that there are basically three types of people in the world; those that criticize and want to destroy, those that commend and desire to build or foster others; and those that simply don't care either way. Fortunately most people truly want to help others and are typically good people.
I have also found that the people that commend others, want to help others and attempt to make "their places" better places, are typically very inspiring. It is to those people- from the past, from the present, the leaders, deep thinkers and philosophers; those from far away... and those from my hometown of Mishawaka, that I dedicate this feature.
I know that there are many of you out there that are often inspired by words of wisdom.
I hope that you will enjoy this column and that the messages within will encourage you, as it has me.
In the meanwhile, enjoy your life as if you only have one!
