The late Sheldon N. Isaacs (1931-2016) served his country for two years in a MASH unit as a medic in the Korean War, before returning to the United States to pursue his education, career, and family life. He earned a B.S. from the University of Kentucky and became a registered pharmacist in 1955. He successfully owned and operated two pharmacies.
Sheldon also earned a J.D. from the University of Louisville and became an attorney at the age of 42. He was a proud member of the Kentucky Justice Association. He was co-founder of Isaacs and Issacs and brought his "fight hard" attitude, compassion for his clients and his tough as mails approach to the firm.

When his son, Darryl Isaacs, graduated from law school, they co-founded the firm of Isaacs & Isaacs.

Darryl Isaacs, co-founder of Issacs & Issacs, did his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky in the “Horse Capital of the World,” the great city of Lexington. He then earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. A continual learning environment has allowed Darryl to work hard and earn membership into the Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio Bar Associations. You’ll find Darryl and the team at Isaacs and Isaacs serving from office locations in all three states, including the city of Louisville, where he also holds membership in the Louisville Bar Association.
